Course Overview
The Teamcenter Implementation program is an architect-track course designed to master the end-to-end technical lifecycle of a PLM project. Moving beyond basic administration, this course focuses on the technical orchestration of the Teamcenter environment. You will gain hands-on expertise in infrastructure design, centralized software distribution using Deployment Center, and the synchronization of complex data models across enterprise-scale landscapes. Whether you are building a fresh environment for a startup or scaling a distributed architecture for a global manufacturer, this syllabus provides the technical blueprints required to ensure a stable, high-performance Go-Live.
Technical Curriculum
- Architecture Blueprinting: Technical design and sizing of 2-tier and 4-tier environments, including single-box vs. distributed server strategies.
- Centralized Deployment (DC): Mastering the Deployment Center for automated installation, environment patching, and enterprise-wide software upgrades.
- Infrastructure Provisioning: Initializing database schemas (SQL/Oracle), configuring Web Tiers (Tomcat/JBoss), and establishing secure client-server communication.
- Global Volume Architecture: Designing and deploying the FMS/FSC backbone to ensure high-speed data access and secure file storage across multiple sites.
- Modern Web Stack Setup: Technical implementation of Active Workspace (AWC) microservices, Gateway services, and Solr-based indexing for fast data retrieval.
- Integration Technical Setup: Configuring the TCCS (Teamcenter Client Communication System) and the server-side handshake for CAD and ERP connectors.
- System Orchestration: Managing environment clones, performing server-side data migrations, and executing technical "Hypercare" post-deployment protocols.
