Technical Curriculum

  • Architecture & Installation: Setting up 2-tier and 4-tier environments, including Web Tier, Server Manager, and Deployment Center configurations.
  • Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE): Defining the data model by creating Business Objects, Attributes, and List of Values (LOVs) to meet business logic requirements.
  • Organization & User Management: Managing the hierarchical structure of Groups, Roles, and Users to maintain an organized enterprise environment.
  • Access Manager (Security): Configuring the Rule Tree and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to manage data visibility and permission security.
  • File Management System (FMS): Optimizing data upload and download performance through FSC (File Server Cache) and FCC (File Client Cache) configurations.
  • Workflow Designer: Designing and automating business processes, including task assignments, notifications, and engineering change management.
  • Query & Report Builder Creating custom search queries and administrative reports to extract critical data and monitor system usage.
  • System Maintenance: Monitoring server logs, performing database backups, and managing environment synchronization from Test to Production.
  • Command Line Utilities: Utilizing administrative tools like install, data_share, and clearlocks for back-end system management and troubleshooting.
  • Project Administration: Managing project-based data security and controlling user access through the Teamcenter Project module.
  • Change Management: Configuring formal Change Requests (CR) and Change Notices (CN) to track and govern engineering modifications.
  • Visualization & Dispatcher: Configuring the Dispatcher client and server for automated file translations and 3D JT data visualization.
  • Audit & Subscription: Setting up Audit Manager to track system events and managing Subscriptions for automated user notifications.
  • Active Workspace Admin: Managing the AWC gateway, configuring interface tiles, and maintaining indexing via Solr for fast data retrieval.
  • PLM Integration (CAD/ERP): Installing and troubleshooting technical links between Teamcenter and external tools like NX, SolidWorks, or SAP.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: System logs monitoring, database backups, and deployment strategies.
